Growing due to its IT
United States of America domination in Information technology is gradually displaced by the industry of telecommunication andcomputer in Asia which is one of them is India. USA started this industry around 70 years ago. Started from venture capital home industri and localized the production activity in a region Industry, California, which is well-known as Silicion Valley. India started the same thing in 1990.

It establishes Information Technology which is believed as the future economic power. Based upon its export income, the selling of IT product still in the first rank since the early of 90s. Within 2 years, it grew 35% and contributed around 70% out of 73% national software company in that area. Its profit reaches 100.000 crore rupee ( around $ 22,43 billion) in 2005-2006.

To build a power of economy on the basis of Information technology industry, India starts from education field by producing experts on IT. What is now being done by India is not different from what has been done by Chaina Taipe and Japan to USA. To master technology, expecially IT which is mastered by USA, India sends thousands of brilliant young men to USA as well as Europe. Ironically, those young men who has mastered it stay and work there, mostly in Silicon Valley. The reason why those Indian young men are recruited is that they have good English and low wages.

The exodus of Indian computer experts to USA happened during 1980s and in the early of 1990s. Silicon Valley is extending from San Fransisco to San Yose. There are about 15.000 employes and 6.000 of them are Indian software experts. This is to say that those Indian young men contribute to the growth of USA IT over the past 20 years. Narasimha Rao who was at that time as the Prime Minister realized that he should take them back and use their capabilty. After that he made a policy which gives incentif and create a condusive situation. In order to raise capital, a country which was classified as developing country, welcome the entry of foreign capital by offering elimination of tax of capital goods for this industry and eliminating monopoli, including the monopoli elimination on the field of Internet Service Provider and Internet satelite link. What is more interesting about this incentif is that the employes of this IT company has its share.

The result is that under Rao leadership, brain drain had become brain gain. Together with the Indian experts of IT who worked in some industries in USA , in 1990, he started to build Software Technology Park (STP) in Pune, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar. The following one year, he also built it in Nagar, Hyderabad, and Thiruwabanthapuram. Bangalore, State of Karnataka, and Hyderabad, capital city of Andra Pradesh, are two cities which have significant progress. These two cities have become the Silicon Valley of India and have reached 25% per year for its economy growth. There are now about 200 big industries of software and employ thousands of people.

Infosys Technologies is the biggest Software industry in India. It has eight development centers of IT in India. In addition, Tata Infotech and National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), two company which are supported by IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle in order to develop a relationship between Universities in India and USA.Based upon the data of Nasscom, the growth of software export from India closely reaches 52% per year ($ 1,8 billion per year).Infosys Technologies, Satyam Computer Service, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Service predict that they gain profit more than 80% for this product and there have been around 62% of software export from India to USA which is to say that it reaches 14% out of all export total in India. The income from this product has contributed 2% of India GDP. This success is now followed by some countries such as Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Algeria, and Indonesia by having cooperation with India in terms of building the same concept of Software Technology Park
