Using English to Teach Value of Life

The picture above can be considered as a reading card for teaching English. In fact, as English Teacher we can share more than just grammar, vocabulary, and skills which is value of life. How can we optimize this English teaching aids to be Life Value teaching aids. Well, I have tried it for couple time, u may - should - try it as well. Why? It gives a fantastic impact beyond our expectation. What? If you are living in a culture which is not common saying "I love you" to your parents, then this material will be fit into the purpose of teaching value of life. How?

1. Provide Translation of those sentences of your mother tongue.
2. Ask your students to memorize those sentences.
3. Ask them to say it at least once in a day for a week to their parents.
4. Ask them to give the book in which those sentences are written along with its translation to their parents and start saying those sentences to their parents.
5. Tell the students to get one signature of their parents after.

PS : We'd better ask the students to make their own words and instruct them to say it loudly to one of their parents, either mother or father. The best instruction is to the one they are not close to.

The effect :

The parents who read those sentences and listen to what their children convey will be mostly touched.
